Shaytan (2026) by Salim Ghazi Saeedi is a poetic and philosophical confrontation with the darkness of the modern human condition. Here, “Shaytan” is not presented as a literal supernatural being, but as a symbol of change, descent, conflict, and the shadow within humanity itself. Rejecting comforting abstractions, Saeedi asks readers to look directly at the world and recognise that its dictators, aggressors, and systems of cruelty are not merely “them,” but expressions of our shared collective unconscious. Shaytan is an uncompromising reflection on truth as it is lived and perceived: raw, unsettling, and stripped of illusion.
